Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
Canuck Place provides pediatric palliative care to children with life-threatening illnesses, and to the families who love them, across British Columbia — at no cost to those families. Care is delivered by physicians, nurses, counsellors, therapists, staff and over 400 volunteers.
Medical respite care that gives families rest, and support for parents and siblings alongside the child.
Clinical care focused on comfort, so that time at home and at the hospice is spent living rather than waiting.
Round-the-clock phone consultation and in-house clinical care, for families who cannot plan when they will need help.

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. provides settlement, employment and language support to newcomers, and to the seniors and families who build their lives here, across British Columbia — through 40 service locations. Support is delivered by counsellors, caseworkers, instructors, health staff and hundreds of volunteers.
Case management and orientation that gives newcomers direction, and support for housing, ID and daily essentials.
Career coaching focused on local labour market entry, so that job search, resume building and interviews lead to real offers.
Free LINC classes and conversation circles for newcomers who need language skills to work, study and belong.
Affordable housing and home support that treats aging as dignity, not dependence.
Mentorship for young people and counselling for the families around them, through school and the years after.
Outreach and volunteer programs that make belonging something a community builds, not something newcomers are left to find alone.
